EP:IK Pictures is a platform harmonic production company, creating film and television content across a range of formats, business models and distribution paths, content that flourishes with audiences and relevance.
With a focus on up-and-coming talent we aim to be the conduit between the artist and the audience by offering a creative environment, nimble deal making, and a fluid approach to business.
Our goal is to help new voices to be heard.
The Team
Ioanna Karavela
Ioanna has been producing and production managing for over 15 years, her work includes a diverse number of award-winning short films, online content, and factual programmes for Channel 4, BBC, News UK and The Times. Her debut feature as Producer ‘ELIMINATE: Archie Cookson’ was completed in 2011 and screened at festivals worldwide including Palm Springs International Film Festival. ‘Redcon-1’, an action/war infection film, her second feature as Producer, was distributed worldwide and has won awards at action and horror festivals across the globe. Her most recent production is period drama Tommies, a short film supported by the BFI Network.
She was the co-curator of London Shorts on Londonist, a weekly online showcase of London focused short films and was part of the EFN Short Film Festival an annual festival showcasing emerging talent from the UK and abroad. She is a Film Lecturer at BA Film Production course at UCA and runs EP: IK Pictures, a boutique film and television production company that brings authored work with distinct voices to fruition. Her latest feature as Producer is The Experiment by filmmaker Chee Keong Cheung starring Famke Janssen.

Erik has unrivalled experience collaborating with content platforms and broadcasters all over the world, working on critically acclaimed content on both sides of the Atlantic.
